Dua Lipa is an English singer/songwriter who was born in London United Kingdom on August 22nd, 1995. The singer-songwriter signed to Warner Bros Records in 2014 following her work as a model and released her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. The album reached the top spot at No. 3 on the U.K. Charts. The album had eight singles released including Be the One I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules. In the United States it peaked as number 6. Lipa received the Brit Award in 2018 as British Female Soloist and British Breakthrough Artist. The album has been certified platinum in many countries. Dua Lipa was born in London in the UK by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). The maternal grandparents of her are Bosnian.
